ITS OK TO CRY
Tonight you lay your head on your pillow and you remember how things used to be.
You remember that there should be someone next to you.
The warmth of his body next to yours.
Tonight you remember the times you talked about your day.
His laugh, his smile, how he looked when he laze.
He was your family, he was your history.
Let the sadness turn into tears.
Let your tears turn into sobs.
Let your guard down
let your weakness show
let your soul be cleansed.
Tonight as you lie alone
let it be ok to release the pain you feel.
Go ahead and cry and cry and cry
it’s ok get it all out.
But in the morning when you wake
rise out of your grief
let the hot shower rinse it all away.
Throw on your best dress
and hold your head high up high!
There’s a life waiting
just out your door.
Go get em’ tiger!
Don’t forget the Visine!

Love this. It is so real. Yes it feels like the pain is too much too bear sometimes. I feel crying is like a cleansing of the soul. In the long run you stop crying and start celebrating the day that you got you back. Just stay strong. So proud of you!

Sometimes that is how I have to push through things. I have a life to live. I can’t let things slow me down, not anymore.
