Let me introduce myself not so much by name as that is not as important as what I am. The name is just a few letters put together by my parents. What I am is what you will or will not find interesting. I am a close to half a century year old woman..yikes that sounds horrible but it’s true…and now I have to learn to take care of myself…financially and other ways…all other ways. You see my marriage of almost 29 years ended.

It wasn’t peaches and orgasms, but it was my safety net, my blankie to keep me safe from facing the real world. My life was not happy with him. BUT IT WAS ALL I KNEW AND I WAS AFRAID OF THE WORLD!!

Who will fix my car! OMG I will have to make it by myself financially. Everything by myself! What if a man breaks into our house! (Note to self…buy a bat).

This is what my blog is about… My trials.. my tribulations… my letdowns… my meltdowns… my victories… as a 50ish woman who has to make it on her own!

I leave you with this quote… I may be a little girl who wants someones  shoulder to cry on but I will grow and become a strong independent woman living on her own…AND LOVE IT!

  1. After reading your post above, Catalina, I would love to be a “fly on the wall” as you read through Shadows of Love. I would love to be able to read your mind while you sort through some of the posts.

I responded on the Shadows of Love blog to the question you posted on “about Love and Forgiveness”. In short, the answer is, yes, the writings are mine…at least 500 of them.

I hope to hear from you often. Thank you for the great blessing and compliment.

  2. I am SO glad you found my blog and decided to leave a comment – it’s always nice to know you’re not alone in your feelings/trials. People who aren’t going through whatever we’re going through find it easy to give advice,”Keep your chin up” etc; and while their sentiment is appreciated, again, it’s nice to be able to connect with someone who can actually relate to whatever you’re facing.
With that being said – keep up with your writing. It’s always been therapeutic to me. I’ve found it’s a good “brain dump/flush”, thus preventing me from staying up too late at night.

    I wish you enough.
    🙂

  6. You will find yourself, and many parts of you that you didn’t even know existed! I, too, am a divorcee, for over 10 yrs now. It’s been a long crazy journey but love who I have become. Strong independent confident and not willing to let anybody tell me how to live my life. I hope you find peace in the process and can embrace the many positive changes you will be going through. All the best 🙂

  8. Thanks so much for taking time to read my blog post on Separation and Emotional Scars. I hope you found some useful information. I admire you striking out on your own after divorce, handling literally everything yourself. Hope we stay in contact. I’d love to read more of what you have to say.

  9. I see your website is not in google’s top ten. Do you know that social signals can rank http://zamoracatalina.com very quick.

But you need a lot of them. Twitter retweets work best.
In your case you need at least 6000 retweets in order to reach top 10.
But how to get so many retweets. I know the right place, search in google for: Mosis’s Tips

  10. Search systems and methods address the subjective nature
of the relevancy of matches to users’ queries through the use of readability formulae.
All of this builds up to the question that every online
marketing manager dreads; “how do we know we are getting value for money from our SEO budget. Only those methods that they think are necessary or beneficial to the progress of the website will be applied.

sales. Include location in the anchor text for inbound links.
The key is to find terms that attract ‘good’ search volume but those that
